Bioscopewala: Movie Review
Bioscopewala (English: Man with a Bioscope) is an Indian Hindi drama film directed by Deb Medhekar. The film had it's World Premiere at the 30th Tokyo International Film Festival on 28 October 2017 and is an adaptation of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore's short story Kabuliwala. The film is about the unique bond between a young woman and a bioscope projectionist who gave her some of the best memories of her childhood. Spanning across decades and countries, this poignant tale about human connections also recounts one woman's quest to find the missing pieces in her story.
I had the opportunity to review the movie which promised the viewers an intriguing drama unlike any other.
